Al Hilal Defeats Al Ittihad 2-1 in King’s Cup Semi-finals

Al Hilal picked a 2-1 victory over Al Ittihad Jeddah in the semi-finals of the Saudi King’s Cup, held today at the “Radiant Jewel” Stadium in Jaddah.

During the first half of the match, Brazilian Michel scored the first goal for Al Hilal, while Savic, the Al Hilal midfielder, was sent off. In the 67th minute, Al-Ittihad scored the equalizer after Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah’s goal.

In the 81st minute, Saud Abdel Hamid was able to score the second goal for Al Hilal, after a wonderful pass from Malcolm.

Al Hilal now has the opportunity to achieve a local hat-trick during the current season after winning the Saudi Super Cup title.

With this victory, Al Hilal continued its dominance in the El Clásico matches against Al Ittihad Jeddah in the current season as it won the seven matches that brought the two teams together this season in all competitions. They included two matches in the League, other two in the Champions League, one match in the Arab Club Championship, a confrontation in the Saudi Super Cup, and the last match in Saudi King’s Cup.
