Health Ministry Opens Wa’i Award 2023-2024 Voting

The Ministry of Health announced the start of the voting phase for the 2023-2024 Wa’i Award, in its sixth season, which continues until May 14th, through the award’s website. The Ministry seeks to involve the community in voting for the entries qualified for the award.

It is one of the Ministry’s initiatives in partnership with the Health Insurance Council. The total number of its awards is more than one million riyals.

The Ministry stated that 90 entries from different Arab countries are eligible for the Waa’i Award in its current edition. The entries span five tracks: short film, advertising photography, motion graphics, infographics, and creative ideas.

The voting stage, one of the last stages of the Wa’i Award season, allows participants to vote on qualified entries across five tracks. This includes selecting winners such as the Audience Award, which is separate from the jury’s decision and goes to the top ten entries voted for by the public via the award website or email.

After the voting stage, the winning entries for the “Audience Award” and the top positions in the closing ceremony are determined. It was pointed out that the voting process begins with logging into the Wa’i Award website https://waaiaward.com, then reviewing the nominated entries, and selecting the entry deserving of the vote. The activation link is then sent to the beneficiary via email, followed by the voting process.

The “Wa’i” Award aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, prevent diseases, boost productivity, and inspire creative health. It also encourages citizens of the Arab world to produce creative content that contributes to enriching health awareness content.
